Often referred to as the C.O.E., in the REALTOR® Family Circles, the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics, Celebrates 100 Years (1913-2013) as the REALTORS® Foundational Belief Document.  The REALTORS® were the first real National Trade Organization to addopt such Principals of Conduct and Behavior in the Country’s early organized business history.   In 1913, the original version of the document was born.  And even after many changes and modifications over these past 100 years, the Basic Principals still remain essentually in tact.   To this day, no other National Trade Organization can lay claim to having such a powerfully Foundational Document upon which governs the Behaviors of its Members!

For over 100 years, REALTORS® have promoted and protected the dream of property ownership for millions of Americans just like you.  In fact, the National Association of REALTORS® was founded by real estate practitioners determined to unite the profession with the singular goal of establishing high ethical standards to protect buyers and sellers.

So… Congratulations and Happy 100th Birthday (to the Grand Old Dame that is…) the N.A.R.  Code of Ethics!
